iPod nano 4g WATER DAMAGE?!

Although I can use my BLACKBERRY TORCH 9800 as my music-player, I still use my iPod. But a few weeks ago my iPod had water damage, I could not turn it on. I've searched on Google to see if I could do anything about it and found this...  

I thought it was worth the try and put my iPod in a bag of rice...

A few weeks later I checked the iPod and my iPod is functioning again!!! =D
